Jeannie possesses extensive knowledge and experience in both digital and traditional photography and is a gifted artist adept at manipulating digital images. She ran her own photography studio and gallery for twelve years as part of Oolite Arts (formerly known as Art Center South Florida), situated at the renowned Lincoln Road Mall. Jeannie Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida and a Master of Fine Arts in photography and digital imaging from the University of Miami.

She has served as a photography instructor at both the University of Miami and Barry University, where she taught courses in black and white photography, color photography, and digital imaging. Her photographs are created using a wide range of processes, techniques, and materials, which include digital imaging, traditional film and fiber prints, as well as alternative methods. Her work is included in prominent collections such as those belonging to Mike Mills (of REM), the Neiman Marcus corporate art collection, and Richard Shack, who is recognized as one of Art News’ top 100 collectors.
